Malawi is loved by all its visitors. It has the gorgeous Lake Malawi, luxury and friendly holiday accommodation, more than 400 species of orchids and many nature and game reserves. Malaria is a concern though so please enquire from your GP on precautions before travel.

With Lake Malawi (3rd largest lake in Africa), waterfalls, rivers, mountains (North) with Nyika Plateau, forests and uplands is a warm, inviting country that will suit most traveller's needs. It also has a tropical climate with hot humid days and cool nights. June to August is ideal for travelling with warm days and cold nights and wet and hot from November to April is best avoided. The plant-lover will find Malawi host to the largest amount of orchid species, more than 400. The Eco-traveller will enjoy Liwonde National Park, Mcuu Wilderness Lodge, Nyika Plateau and Zomba Plateau (excellent for orchid viewing). Then there is also Lake Malawi National Park, a declared national heritage and the world's 1st fresh water park.
In Africa's Malawi you will find the famous Lake Malawi with its clear warm water and paradise beaches, impressive baobab and palm trees. Here you can enjoy the peace of a deserted island or partake in water sports such as kayak and snorkel.
Although famous for Lake Malawi, this African country also spoils its visitor with lush river valleys, rolling green hills and huge savannas plus great mountains. Accommodation is always super comfortable and private, the people warm and welcoming.
