This incredibly diverse country, home to the glorious Victoria Falls and many fantastic game reserves is a gem to Eco-travellers, adventurists and calm characters alike. Sadly politics have nearly killed tourism but everyone stays optimistic and have faith that this African gem will once again become a tourist magnet. Malaria is a concern - precautions are adviced.

The country is split into central Highveld plateau, dropping into the Zambezi River Valley to the North but it also comes with lakes, mountains, forests, monuments and of course accommodation for every pocket, ranging from budget to exclusive.
Winter (May to August) is the best time to travel as summer (November to April) can be incredibly uncomfortable with humidity and heat. Places to visit include the Victoria Falls and other amazing National Parks, Hwange (a great elephant sanctuary) Kariba Dam and the Natural World Heritage Site of Mana Pools National Park.
Note: Malaria is a concern - ask your GP before travelling.
