Coming this June...
Great news for Cape Town and its visitors. Soon the V&A Waterfront will host a 50 metre diameter giant wheel modelled on the London Eye. This wheel will consist of 36 air-conditioned and enclosed capsules with space for 8 individuals and with 2 million LED lights, it promises to add sparkle to the Mother City.
Each trip will last about 20 minutes while the wheel will run each day of the week between 10h00 - 22h00. Wheelchairs will be able to enter 2 capsules and all rides will amount to more or less R70.00.
