The Knysna Oyster Festival is a popular festival with everyone as there's something for anyone. The 2010 programme includes loads of entertainment, oysters of course and sport - including the Pick 'n Pay Cape Times Knysna Forest Marathon and the Pick n Pay Weekend Argus Rotary Knysna Cycle Tour. Plus adventure races, running and cycling, golf, soccer, night biking and much more.
This year the expected number of people total 65 000 and they will be treated to the best oysters at the best prices, oyster eating competitions and a wonderful oyster and wine tasting evening, a street parade and live concert at the Waterfront.
A youth theatre and puppet shows, cooking and creative art workshops, sorts and other entertainment will be provided for the kids and they are bound to be happy.
