Clarendon Guest House started as an orphanage in 1918. In 1933 Lord and Lady Clarendon, Governor General of the Union of South Africa visited Ugie and the Houses for Orphans. During a ceremony a memorial tablet was unveiled to commemorate their visit. The Orphanage moved into a new building complex in 1962. Clarendon Guest House has had several owners since then. We cordially invite you to spend a few nights in this historical building. We offer you old-world elegance with modern facilities.
