Situated on one of the most interesting heritage sites in the country where Voortrekker and Zulu clashed in one of the last traditional 19th century battles in South Africa (16 December 1838 in the battle of Blood River). A replica of the original wagon laager of 1838 and inaugurated in 1971. Museum exhibitions and a DVD putting the event of 16 December 1838 into perspective. Caravan and camping facilities as well as four 3-star over-night rooms, licensed restaurant and souvenir shop. The site is approached via a gravel road, De Jager's Drift, off the R33 between Vryheid and Dundee.
