Superbly positioned on the rocks at Mossel Bay's famous lighthouse, 52 sea-facing, en-suite rooms with private balconies overlooking the Indian Ocean. A huge tidal pool right in front of the hotel offers safe bathing, whilst surfers can enjoy one of the best surfing venues on the coastline. A 15 km walking trail along the coast starts at the hotel. The Lighthouse Restaurant and bar cater for all tastes and appetites.

Facilities at this four star hotel include spacious balconies, direct dial telephones, international plug points, tea/coffee making facilities, TV and DSTV, ceiling fans and panel heaters, lock-up safes, internet access in every room incorporating Wi-Fi hot spot areas. The hotel is paraplegic friendly and all floors are serviced with hydraulic lifts.

The Lighthouse Restaurant situated off the foyer of the hotel serves continental and full English breakfast and also offers a Provencal inspired Mediterranean-style a la carte menu for lunch or dinner.

Conference facilities are available and cater for 80 delegates cinema style and 65 classroom style. This facility with its spectacular views over the Indian Ocean is also an ideal venue for weddings and functions. Our new Business Centre offers a meeting venue for up to 10 people around a boardroom and provides computer and printing facilities.

Recreational activities include swimming in a tidal pool and leisurely walks along the beautiful coastline. The St Blaize hiking trail starts at the hotel and leads along a contour path for 15km to Dana Bay.

Sport facilities such as golf, tennis, bowls, squash, angling and sailing are all available in the area. Seal Island trips can be arranged.
